LSU didn’t have the year it wanted in Matt McMahon’s first season at the helm of the program.

The Tigers finished last in the SEC men’s basketball standings, going 2-16 in SEC play and 14-19 overall.

Now as the Tigers enter the offseason, players will have some big decisions to make. Some will enter the transfer portal and others will return to Baton Rouge. According to a report this week, guard Justice Hill will opt to enter his name into the transfer portal ahead of the 2023-24 season:

Hill played in 30 games for LSU in 2022-23, starting 17 of them. He averaged 5.6 points, 2.7 assists and 1.6 rebounds per contest.

Hill played for 2 seasons under McMahon at Murray State before heading to LSU this past year. He was a first-team all-OVC player at Murray State in 2021-22.
