LSU transfer forward Brandon Murray will be busy the next few days. Murray will reportedly visit 3 schools and announce his new school next week. College basketball insider Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports shares that Murray plans to visit Tennessee, Illinois and Georgetown. Murray’s decision is expected Monday, per Rothstein.

A Baltimore native who finished his high school career at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida, Murray was a 4-star recruit in the top-85 overall on the 247Sports Composite for the class of 2021. He chose LSU over 12 other offers, including Auburn.

In his freshman season, Murray averaged 10 points, 3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.1 steals over a team-high 31 minutes per game.

Murray entered the NCAA transfer portal on March 24. By April 1, 11 Tigers had entered the portal. Barring any withdrawals from the portal, LSU is not expected to return any players from the 2021-22 team.
