New favorite emerges in updated Heisman Trophy odds

That also didn’t stop the LSU signal-caller from emerging as the new favorite to win the Heisman Trophy, according to online sportsbook BetOnline.
The senior at the helm of LSU’s suddenly dynamic passing attack has completed 79.4 percent of his passes this season for 2,484 yards with 29 touchdowns and only three interceptions. He’s also added another two touchdowns on the ground. Most importantly, LSU is 7-0 on the season.
While his numbers may be gaudy, the competitive edge and confidence Burrow brings to Baton Rouge is perhaps his most important attribute the quarterback brings to LSU’s offense.
For all of his success to date, Burrow has jumped the likes of Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa to become the new leader for college football’s highest individual honor.
