All of a sudden, LSU is among the top programs in the nation for emerging offensive playmakers.

That wasn’t always the case but coming off a perfect 15-0 national championship season, the Tigers have emerged as one of the premier landing spots for playmakers across the country.

Four-star Iowa product Thomas Fidone is no different as the elite tight end prospect announced that LSU made his list of finalists on Tuesday. In addition to LSU, Fidone currently lists Notre Dame, Iowa, Penn State, Michigan and Nebraska among his current favorite schools heading into his senior season of high school football for Lewis Central High School.

The 6-foot-4, 218-pound Fidone is currently rated as a top 100 overall prospect and the nation’s No. 2 tight end prospect by 247Sports Composite Rankings. Fidone is currently committed to compete in the 2021 All-American Bowl when his high school playing career comes to an end.
