LSU fans certainly took note of Alabama fans getting to sing “Dixieland Delight” once again on Saturday night.

That, naturally, brings the Tigers’ own banned song, “Neck,” into the forefront. It has been banned for vulgar lyrics added by the student section.

On Monday, coach Ed Orgeron weighed in on the situation, agreeing that it’s a good song, but adding that he’d prefer the vulgar lyrics to go away:

“Again, it’s not my business. It’s not my decision,” he said. “I love our fans, I love the tune, I love all that stuff, but those words used, I’d prefer those words not to be used.”

Will LSU bring the song back for the game against Alabama in a few weeks? We’ll have to see, but fans seemingly won’t rest until it returns to Tiger Stadium.
