Former Mississippi State lineman (and NFL Draft hopeful) Chris Jones arrested in Starkville
It hasn’t been a great week for former Mississippi State players who are NFL Draft hopefuls.
For the second time in less than a week, a former Bulldog was arrested in Starkville. Last time it was Dak Prescott on suspicion of DUI, and this time it’s former defensive lineman Chris Jones.
Jones was arrested in Starkville for driving on a suspended license, according to the Clarion Ledger. He was initially pulled over for speeding. He posted $922 bond and was released.
Jones is considered a potential first-round pick in this spring’s NFL Draft.
Chris Jones' license was suspended due to an unpaid speeding ticket from December 2015, according to Oktibbeha County Justice Court.
