Mississippi State DB Cam Dantzler announces jersey number change

The Mississippi State Bulldogs will have a roster update to make, as redshirt sophomore DB Cameron Dantzler announced a change.
Though S Johnathan Abram is the defensive player listed as wearing the No. 3 jersey on the team’s official roster as of Monday night, Dantzler tweeted that he’d be wearing that number this fall.
That means Dantzler will no longer be wearing his No. 13 jersey, but it’s unclear if anyone else will be taking over that number:

Dantzler didn’t play much in 2017 after taking a redshirt in 2016 following a spring injury.
This fall, though, he’s expected to compete for playing time under new DC Bob Shoop.
