Considering all the issues currently going on in Oxford, it’s no wonder Mississippi State is dominating in-state recruiting. Hail State can add another name to its growing list of in-state commits as Fabian Franklin, the state’s top running back prospect for 2018, just announced his pledge to MSU.

Mississippi State now holds commitments from four of the state’s top six prospects, compared to Ole Miss which has only one commitment from ranked within the state’s top eight.

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Franklin is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 3 overall prospect from Mississippi and the No. 18 running back nationally according to 247Sports Composite Ratings. Franklin picked MSU over some impressive offers including Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, Michigan and TCU.
