The Mississippi State Bulldogs have been doing well on the recruiting trails, but on Sunday, they made a big-time addition.
And, they didn’t have to go far to do it, as 4-star 2019 OT Charles Cross announced he’d be staying in Mississippi and heading to Starkville next fall.
As you can see in the tweet below, the Laurel native pledged his allegiance to coach Joe Moorhead’s program:

According to the 247Sports composite, Cross is the No. 11 overall offensive tackle in the class of 2019 and the No. 5 overall recruit from the state of Mississippi.
Cross is Mississippi State’s 23rd commitment of the 2019 class. Prior to his announcement, the class ranked No. 9 in the SEC and No. 19 nationally, per 247Sports. Having Cross on board is sure to boost that rating.
