A December 2018 arrest continues to cause legal problems for former Mizzou WR Dorial Green-Beckham.

On Dec. 19, 2018, Springfield police were reportedly conducting surveillance on a home in preparation for executing a search warrant when Green-Beckham, who wasn’t the target of the warrant, entered the home. Green-Beckham had two small bags of marijuana on him, and when police executed the raid of the home, he jumped out of a window. He was tased and arrested.

Being arrested triggered a 90-day jail sentence as it violated the conditions of Green-Beckham’s parole from his December 2017 DWI arrest. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail in March 2019 and had recently completed that sentence. Now, Springfield police are charging Green-Beckham with resisting arrest and marijuana possession for the December 2018 incident. Why he is just getting charged now, in late June, for a December incident is not made clear in the Springfield News-Leader’s report of the developments.

Green-Beckham last played in the NFL in the 2016 season with the Philadelphia Eagles. He was waived in June 2017.
