Harrison Mevis’ game-winning field goal to down Florida doesn’t hold a candle to his game-winner against Kansas State. But his celebration might bring it up to that level regardless.
Brady Cook and the Tigers drove the field in the final 2 minutes to set Mevis up for the game-winning 30-yard field goal, which Mevis split down the uprights. He then proceeded to Gator chomp and fist pump down the sideline, to the glee of all Tigers fans at Faurot Field.

Florida may be in danger of losing out on a bowl game this season, but that was a great win for the Tigers. The Gators have their backs against the wall, and those kinds of teams are always dangerous to end the year.
This is the stuff that was missing from last year’s team, one that lost seemingly ever week by 1 possession. But this year Eli Drinkwitz’ squad has finished games, and it’s paying off for them.
The Tigers are just 1 win away from their first 10-win season since 2014.
