Luther Burden has officially entered his first fall camp as a Missouri Tiger.

Nathalie Jones of ABC17 News took to Twitter on Monday with this video of Burden fielding punts in the first of many practices of his football career in the SEC:

The 5-star wide receiver, among the most exciting offensive prospects in the 2022 class, officially committed to Missouri on Oct. 19, 2021. He’s drawn early comparisons to the likes of Cleveland Browns WR Amari Cooper and could eventually evolve into a first-round pick down the line, though he’ll obviously have to live up to the hype in one of college football’s most difficult conferences to play in.

Burden was a two-sport athlete at East St. Louis High School and projects as a player who can be extremely effective both on special teams and in a traditional receiver role.

Burden is a big get for a team that’s been a middle-of-the-road squad in the conference over recent history and gives the Tigers a chance to really get things going on offense with a target like this in the fold. We’ll see how he fares as a freshman this fall.
