Missouri has scheduled a future home-and-home series with a former conference rival.

It was announced on Thursday that the Tigers have agreed to a home-and-home series with Kansas State for the 2022 and 2023 seasons. The two schools used to be conference rivals during Missouri’s time with the Big 12 but the two teams have not played since 2011.

Missouri holds the advantage in the all-time series with a record of 60-32-5 against the Wildcats. The Tigers won five straight from 2006-10 before a loss in 2011.

Gabe DeArmond shared a screenshot of the official announcement from the school:

We are still a long ways away from the matchup, but Mizzou’s non-conference schedule for 2023 should be a strong one with games against Kansas State, Memphis, and Middle Tennessee State already scheduled.

It will be tough for the Tigers to win each of those games, but doing so would be a big boost for the program.
