Next stop Columbia? 2022 Mizzou DL target decommits from Nebraska
Could Missouri be in line to add a defensive line recruit to its ranks?
Jacksonville, Fla. lineman Hayden Schwartz pledged to play at Nebraska in July. However, on Monday night, he announced on his Twitter account that he was de-committing from the Cornhuskers, with the team in the midst of a 3-5 season.
A 3-star recruit, Schwartz was part of a Bolles School defense that played for state championships in back-to-back seasons. Mizzou was one of the programs that offered him, and he took an official visit there on June 25. His father, Bryan, was a 2nd-round pick out of Division 2 Augustana and spent 5 seasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
After much prayer and talking with my parents, I have decided to reopen my recruitment. I would like to thank Nebraska, their fans, and the whole coaching staff for everything they have done for me and my family.
