Heading into the 2018 NBA Draft, former Mizzou big man Michael Porter Jr. is one of the most intriguing prospects.
After missing most of his only year with the Tigers with a back injury, Porter is still projected to be a top-10 pick, perhaps rising into the top-five.
And, according to a report from Jordan Schultz, Porter’s stock is on the rise after he performed well in a private workout:
#Missouri forward Michael Porter, Jr. really helped himself with a sensational private workout, sources say. Displayed the bevy of offensive tools that made him the No. 1 HS player in the country. As long as medicals check out, he will be one of the draft’s most coveted prizes.

As long as MPJ is healthy, he’s one of the top prospects in the draft. If he had been able to play all year, he could very well be in the No. 1 overall pick discussion.
For now, though, he’ll have to settle for going a bit lower, but he’s doing everything he can to entice himself to NBA squads.
