Women’s College World Series: Schedule, Bracket and TV info for Monday, June 5
The 2023 Women’s College World Series shifts to semifinal action on Monday.
Oklahoma, the No. 1 seed in the field, enters the round of 4 with an unblemished record at the WCWS in every way. The Sooners have yet to give up a run so far during the WCWS, beating Stanford 2-0 in the opener and then blasting Tennessee on Saturday 9-0. OU is seeking a third consecutive national title and a fourth consecutive trip to the championship series.
The Sooners are joined by 3-seed Florida State, 4-seed Tennessee, and 9-seed Stanford. Semifinal action gets rolling at 12 p.m. ET on ESPN with a rematch between the Sooners and Cardinal. Stanford went into the bottom of the fifth scoreless with the Sooners in their first meeting. A 2-out, 2-RBI single from OU broke the tie and provided the only runs of the day.
The best-of-3 championship series begins on Wednesday.
