Georgia’s upset bid of No. 14 Florida just got a bit more challenging.
Ahead of Wednesday’s conference clash in Athens, the Bulldogs announced that they will be without their leading scorer. Jeremiah Wilkinson has been ruled out, according to the SEC’s availability report on Tuesday evening.

Wilkinson averages 17.1 points per game. This season, he has appeared in 23 games, making 21 starts. Wilkinson plays an average of 25.6 minutes per contest.
Behind Wilkinson, the Dawgs have 3 other players who average double-figure scoring. Blue Cain averages with 13.2 points per game, while Marcus “Smurf” Millender is good for 11.7 and Kanon Catchings is at 11.2.
Georgia enters the game at 17-6 overall and 5-5 in SEC play. Last time out, UGA won 83-71 at LSU to snap a 3-game losing skid.
Florida has been a tough out for Mike White’s Bulldogs. Under White, who coached the Gators from 2015-22, Georgia is just 1-7 against Todd Golden‘s Florida team. The Gators won in Gainesville 92-77 on Jan. 6. Last time in Athens, though, on Feb. 25, 2025, UGA pulled off the upset over the eventual national champions, beating then-No. 3 UF 88-82.
Wednesday’s game is set for 7 p.m. ET in Stegeman Coliseum and will air on ESPN2.
