Jaland Lowe, Kentucky transfer commit, makes final decision on NBA Draft

Jaland Lowe will play for the Kentucky Wildcats in 2025-26.
Lowe took to social media to announce that he has withdrawn from the 2025 NBA Draft.
Like many college basketball players, Lowe entered the NCAA transfer portal while testing the NBA Draft waters. He committed to UK on April 5 while keeping his professional options open. A native of Missouri City, Texas, Lowe heads to Kentucky after 2 seasons at Pitt.

Lowe is 1 of only 2 players in Pitt program history to record over 300 points and 100 assists in each of their first two seasons with the Panthers. In 64 career games, Lowe has logged 836 points (13.1 ppg), 221 rebounds (3.5 rpg), 278 assists (4.3 apg), and 83 steals (1.3 spg).
Last season, Lowe led the way for Pitt with 16.8 points per game. He added 4.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 1.77 steals per game, making him one of only 8 players in the NCAA to 16.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per outing. A third-team All-ACC selection, Lowe was Pitt’s scoring leader 15 times, notching a team-high 5 double-doubles.
