The Tigers landed themselves a good one. Missouri basketball commit Jason Crowe Jr. was named Co-MVP of the McDonald’s All-American game on Tuesday night after the West took down the East 102-86.
Crowe led the West in scoring, which is no surprise as the Mizzou commit ended his high school career as California’s all-time leading scorer(4,718 points across 124 career games). The combo guard has a unique ability to score the basketball at all three levels.
Crowe shared the MVP honors with Arizona commit Caleb Holt.
Crowe is currently ranked as the No. 7 player nationally in the 247 Sports Composite ranking. He is the second-highest rated player ever to commit to Mizzou, behind Michael Porter Jr.
Mizzou commit Toni Bryant also starred in the McDonald’s All-American game. Bryant was the second-leading scorer on Team East and showed Mizzou fans just how excited they should be for the upcoming season.
Bryant is rated as the third-highest recruit ever to commit to Mizzou, according to 247 Sports. Meaning, Mizzou basketball is bringing in 2 of its 3 highest-rated recruits ever for the upcoming season.
There’s no doubt that next season will be one to remember for Mizzou fans. Check out some of Crowe’s highlights from the McDonald’s All-American game below:
