Future Hogs Jordan Smith Jr. and JJ Andrews showed out in the McDonald’s All-American game, but only one of them came out a winner.
That would be JJ Andrews of Team West, which took down Team East 102-86. Andrews was a big reason why the West dominated, too. The Arkansas commit scored 12 points on 4-of-9 shooting, with 5 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, and only 1 turnover. Andrews was not awarded any MVP honors but has already proved he’s one of the most talented players in the class.
Andrews is ranked as the No. 16 player nationally according to the 247 Sports Composite ranking. The Arkansas native committed to the Hogs back in May of 2025 and officially signed later that year.
Smith Jr. was no slouch, either. He led the East in scoring with 15 points on 50% shooting from the field. He also added 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 3 turnovers to his stat line. Even with struggling from the free-throw line, Smith showed he’s one of the best scorers in the class.
Smith Jr. is ranked as the No. 3 player nationally according to the 247 Sports Composite ranking. He committed to Arkansas back in February and will surely be one of Coach Cal’s stars next season.
