15 SEC players named to FWAA’s All-America teams

On Monday afternoon, the Football Writers Association of America released its annual All-America teams, and to the surprise of no one, there were plenty of SEC players honored.

In total, 15 SEC players made it to the first- and second-teams, with eight earning first-team honors and seven landing on the second team.

First Team:

  • TE Jace Sternberger, Texas A&M
  • OL Jonah Williams, Alabama
  • DL Montez Sweat, Mississippi State
  • DL Quinnen Williams, Alabama
  • LB Josh Allen, Kentucky
  • DB Grant Delpit, LSU
  • DB Greedy Williams, LSU
  • P Braden Mann, Texas A&M

Second Team:

  • QB Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama
  • WR AJ Brown, Ole Miss
  • OL Greg Little, Ole Miss
  • LB Devin White, LSU
  • DB Deandre Baker, Georgia
  • DB Deionte Thompson, Alabama
  • KR Deebo Samuel, South Carolina
