22 former SEC baseball players featured on 2022 MLB Wild Card Series rosters

We’re a few days into October, which means it’s time for playoff baseball.
The MLB postseason is a bit different in 2022 with 3 wild card teams in each league. The top 2 seeds in each league have a first-round bye while seeds 3-6 are playing best-of-3 series in the Wild Card round.
Among those 8 teams in the Wild Card round, there are 22 former players from SEC schools. Here’s the full list, via the SEC website:

The Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Houston Astros and New York Yankees will announce their playoff rosters next week ahead of the Division Series round, which begins Oct. 11. Wild Card series games are scheduled for Friday through Sunday (if necessary).
