3 SEC schools crack top 5 programs with most representation on NFL Top 100 list

The NFL recently released its NFL Top 100 list, in which players vote on the top current athletes in the league.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, the SEC had a ton of players make the cut. In fact, 29 total ex-SEC stars made the list of 100 players.
Those 29 players came heavily from 3 schools — Alabama, LSU and Mississippi State. As you can see below, those 3 schools all cracked the top 5 in terms of schools with the most current NFL 100 players.

South Carolina’s Stephon Gilmore, a defensive back for the Patriots, was the highest-rated former SEC player at No. 9.
LSU has a ton of talented rookies coming into the league this year. We’ll see if any of them crack the NFL Top 100 this time next year.
