4-star Texas defensive end gives LSU first 2021 commitment

LSU is on the board for the class of 2021.
Hutto (Texas) DE Landyn Watson announced Monday night that he has committed to the Tigers. Listed at 6-3, 240 pounds, Watson is a 4-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite, rated the No. 11 weak-side defensive end, No. 33 Texas product and No. 176 prospect overall nationally for the 2021 class. He already has 15 scholarship offers, including Notre Dame, Michigan State, TCU and Vanderbilt in addition to Louisiana State.
The commitment comes as Watson was taking an official visit to LSU. He visited Washington last month and Texas A&M in May. Check out Watson’s Twitter announcement and highlights below:
