There’s a 50-50 chance that 4-star wide receiver Tyrell Shavers ends up playing in the SEC next year.
The Lewisville, Tex. native dropped his top 10 schools on Thursday morning, and five teams from the SEC make the cut: Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Mississippi State, and Ole Miss.

Shavers, who stands at 6-foot-6, 200 pounds and reportedly runs an impressive 4.38 40-yard dash, is listed as 247Sports’ No. 26 wide receiver from the recruiting class of 2017. His crystal ball predicts that he will end up committing to the Texas Longhorns, though it is still very early in this year’s cycle.
