We are almost at the midway point of bowl season.
There have already been a few nail biters and heartbreakers.
Here’s a look at the 5 longest touchdowns in bowl games so far (spoiler: we hope you like special teams.)
1. San Diego State crushes Cincinnati and adds a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown: San Diego State didn’t have any trouble with the Bearcats, winning 42-7 in the Hawaii Bowl. Check out Rashaad Penny’s 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.

2. Pitt’s Quadree Henderson takes it 100 yards to the house in the opening kickoff against Navy. It happened again. The Panthers opened the Military Bowl with this electrifying 100-yard kickoff return from Quadree Henderson. But it was all Navy after that. The Midshipmen went on to claim a dominating 44-28 win.

3. Arkansas State posts a 98-yard kickoff return in loss to Louisiana Tech: Maybe huge kickoff returns aren’t always a good thing. Arkansas State fell to Louisiana Tech 47-28, but Blaise Taylor found the end zone on this breakout play.

4. Shaun Wilson returns 98-yard kickoff to provide a spark for Blue Devils: The Pinstripe Bowl was back and forth the entire game. Duke was down 34-27 in the fourth quarter until Shaun Wilson made it happen. The Blue Devils won 44-41 in overtime.

5. Northern Illinois only touchdown comes on a 96-yard kickoff return: Boise State controlled the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl and won mightily, 55-7. But Aregeros Turner found the end zone to put Northern Illinois on the board with a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown. If only he could have done that a few more times.
