The 2019-20 college basketball season starts on Tuesday night, with some great teams (including No. 2 Kentucky) in action.
On Monday, CBS Sports released a 2020 NBA Mock Draft, and 8 SEC players were projected to go in the first round.
As you can see below, CBS Sports projects 3 talented freshmen to go in the first 10 picks, with 5 freshmen in total going in the first 30 picks:
- No. 3 — Anthony Edwards, G, Georgia — Atlanta Hawks
- No. 4 — Scottie Lewis, G/F, Florida — Chicago Bulls
- No. 8 — Tyrese Maxey, G, Kentucky — Phoenix Suns
- No. 16 — Kahlil Whitney, F, Kentucky — San Antonio Spurs
- No. 23 — Trendon Watford, F, LSU — Houston Rockets
- No. 25 — Kira Lewis Jr., G, Alabama — Toronto Raptors
- No. 26 — Ashton Hagans, G, Kentucky — Brooklyn Nets
- No. 28 — AJ Lawson, G, South Carolina — Los Angeles Lakers
