After Tennessee lost to BYU, everyone made the same joke about Phil Fulmer

The Tennessee program is in a world of hurt, and fans of the Vols are having trouble processing where to turn next. So why not look to former-coach-turned-athletics-director Phil Fulmer?
Following the agonizing loss to BYU that dropped Tennessee to 0-2, the same joke circulated around social media about Fulmer “re-hiring” himself to coach the Big Orange again and return the program to the glory days not seen in more than a decade.
The Vols’ second loss has brought on historic stats, including that Tennessee is 0-2 for the first time since 1988, when the Volunteers lost their first six games. Tennessee is 6-16 over its last 22 games.
Of course, coming on the heels of the humiliating loss to Georgia State, in which it was a 26-point favorite, Tennessee was trying to bounce back from the 38-30 loss and appeared to do so before a blown coverage gave BYU late life.
The Vols will next play Chattanooga before a game at Florida ahead of an off week.
Wonder what the crowd will sound like in Tuscaloosa when Phil Fulmer runs onto the field in Bryant-Denny Stadium again in October.
