Alabama is still looking to add some pieces to its men’s hoops roster ahead of the 2022-23 season, and it appears a talented guard out of the Atlantic 10 is drawing the Tide’s interest.
On Wednesday, it was revealed that the Tide were among 3 teams showing interest in Davidson transfer guard Michael Jones.
Per college hoops insider Jon Rothstein, Jones is also receiving interest from Northwestern and Stanford ahead of the 2022-23 campaign:
Davidson transfer Michael Jones tells me that he's receiving interest from the following programs:
Alabama
Northwestern
StanfordJones averaged 11.8 PPG last season and shot 42.1% from three-point range.

Jones appeared in 34 games for the Wildcats last season, starting all of them. He averaged 11.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1 steal per contest. He also shot 42.1% from 3-point range and 84.3% from the free-throw line.
Can Alabama land the talented shooter from Davidson? He seemingly would be a good fit in Nate Oats’ style of offense.
