Alabama basketball loses commitment from 4-star 2019 SF out of Florida

Earlier this month, 4-star 2019 SF Diante Smith committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, announcing his decision on July 4.

However, it appears the Florida native has had second thoughts, and will instead be exploring more options before making a final decision.

As you can see below, Smith took to Twitter to announce that he was reopening his recruitment:

According to the 247Sports composite, Smith is the No. 25 small forward in the class of 2019 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of Florida.

The Crimson Tide now only have one player in their 2019 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 4 in the SEC and No. 20 in the nation, per 247Sports.
