Alabama CB Minkah Fitzpatrick was spotted working with the safeties during Tuesday’s practice session.
Coming on the heels of Eddie Jackson’s season-ending injury, Fitzpatrick’s position change could become permanent for the rest of 2016:

Fitzpatrick, a sophomore, has three interceptions (one returned 100 yards for a touchdown), 1.5 sacks and one forced fumble so far this season.
With a bye week to get ready for Alabama’s next game, Fitzpatrick has some time to learn the nuances of the safety position.
The Crimson Tide take on LSU on Saturday, Nov. 5, in Baton Rouge.
