Alabama struck first in Saturday’s showdown in The Swamp.

The Crimson Tide offense marched down the field, going 75 yards on 8 plays. The scoring drive was capped off by a 7-yard pass from Bryce Young to Jase McClellan.

Young managed to stay poise dealing with a raucous Swamp atmosphere in first career road start. The Florida crowd managed to cause a delay of game, but it didn’t stop Alabama from converting the third down and eventually getting the touchdown.

Will Reichard’s extra point made it 7-0 UA early in the first quarter.
