Alabama-Tennessee matchup dominates Week 7 afternoon television ratings

It was clear what matchup college football fans wanted to watch on Saturday afternoon.
No. 1 Alabama’s demolition of No. 9 Tennessee drew the highest TV ratings of the afternoon, according to CBS:

Viewers were probably expecting to see a close game, but that wasn’t the case, as the Crimson Tide rolled to an easy 49-10 road victory.
It’s probably a safe bet that next Saturday afternoon’s CBS matchup featuring Alabama against undefeated Texas A&M will be the most watched game in that time slot, too.
