LSU pass rusher Ali Gaye just committed one of the most blatant targeting penalties that you’ll see this year, and now, he’s been ejected for targeting.
The review didn’t take long either.
Gaye came off the edge and launched the crown of his helmet into FSU quarterback Jordan Travis’ helmet. Meanwhile, Travis threw a beautiful 27-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Ontaria Wilson.
As you can see below, Gaye committed the blatant targeting penalty.

The FSU touchdown extended the lead to 17-3 with just over 4 minutes left in the third quarter. It has been all Seminoles Sunday night.
Gaye will now miss the first half of next week’s game against Southern.
