Already? Arkansas fans seem ready to move on from the Chad Morris era

Arkansas may have hit a new rock bottom on Saturday night, losing at home to a San Jose State team that went 1-11 in 2018.
It wasn’t a good look for coach Chad Morris, who despite bringing in a good 2019 recruiting class, now has losses to Colorado State, North Texas and San Jose State on his resume in less than two years.
Already, it seems as if fans have had enough. Arkansas supporters flocked to Twitter late Saturday night to call for Morris to be fired.
Here are some of the many tweets calling for Morris’s job:

I don’t see any way Chad Morris survives that loss. They won’t fire him during the season, but he’s done. He’s now lost the fan base. Absolutely embarrassing performance.

Chad Morris should be told to clean out his office because there really is no reason for him to be the head coach at Arkansas and in fact Morris now Poses A Clear and Present Danger to any future success of the Razorbacks!
To not fire Chad Morris tonight is Total Malfeasance! https://t.co/XYJ48Lcob4— Coaches Hot Seat (@CoachesHotSeat) September 22, 2019
Chad Morris either fires his whole staff or he should be expecting to be looking for a job in December

It’s Sunday morning, September 22nd, and Chad Morris apparently still has a job making $3.5 million per year at Arkansas.
Presumably because it would cost another $12.25 million to fire him. That’s the only reason I can fathom.

@ArkansasFight I have seen better coaching from a 1-8 junior high team. Fire Chad Morris Now
The only point lower for this program would be a Bobby Petrino rehire.— David (@disgusteddave) September 22, 2019

I’m one of the biggest hog fans you will find. If you fire Mike Anderson after nothing but winning seasons, how do you justify keeping Chad Morris after losing to a worthless San Jose State? It is year 2. #pathetic

Arkansas should fire Chad Morris tomorrow. They won’t win an SEC game. That will be two years without a conference win. We’d have to improve to be a laughing stock. Fans have to tired of this level of incompetence. Four words for you. Jack Crowe. The Citadel

Can we fire Chad Morris yet or nah? Don’t want to hear that it’s a young team. That should never happen.

Fire Chad Morris. Absolutely zero excuse. I’m done.

While it still seems unlikely that Morris loses his job (at least not until the end of the season), things are getting tense in Fayetteville.
