Amari Cooper’s status for Browns-Steelers ‘MNF’ game determined, per report

Amari Cooper will be on the field for the Cleveland Browns as they visit the Pittsburgh Steelers as part of a “Monday Night Football” doubleheader, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Cooper made 3 catches for 37 yards against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 1. However, his status for Monday was put into question after suffering a groin injury during practice on Saturday. He was officially considered “questionable”.
Fortunately for Cooper and the Browns, the injury isn’t serious enough to hold him out against a divisional rival as the Browns look to go 2-0 on the young NFL season. They opened their season with a 24-3 win against the Cincinnati Bengals. Meanwhile, the Steelers are 0-1 after falling 30-7 to the 49ers.
Last year, Cooper made 78 catches for 1,160 yards and a career-high 9 touchdowns. He’ll look to replicate that success in his 2nd season with the Browns.
Kickoff from Accrisure Stadium is set for 8:15 p.m. ET and will be televised on ABC.
