SiriusXM college football analyst (and former ESPN analyst) Danny Kanell doesn’t think Alabama is the No. 1 team in the country. Surprise!
Forget the fact the Crimson Tide is the nation’s top top team in both the AP Poll and the Coaches’ Poll. Kanell is leaning with ACC power Clemson as the No. 1 team.
And he’s certainly entitled to his opinion, but it’s not one most Tide fans will agree with.
Kanell posted his top eight teams on Twitter Sunday morning. The list did not include any SEC teams besides Alabama.
Clemson looked solid in its Week 2 win over Auburn, 14-6. Of course, Alabama looked pretty good itself when it hammered Florida State 24-7 in Week 1.
Kanell played quarterback at Florida State from 1992 to 1995.
After wk 2 no changes in top 2 spots but lots others in #DKtop8
