Arkansas AD Jeff Long will not be chairman of CFP selection committee in 2016

Arkansas athletic director Jeff Long won’t continue as the chairman of the College Football Playoff selection committee.
The committee’s executive director Bill Hancock made the announcement just hours after Monday’s national championship game.
Nonetheless, Long will remain a committee member along with his responsibilities with the Razorbacks.
Long had served as chairman since the creation of the committee before 2014. The reason for relinquishing the position was mainly the time commitment Long had to make.
