Unfortunately for Kofi Boateng, injuries took their toll on the Texas native as the Razorback receiver has announced the end of his playing career after just two seasons in Fayetteville.

Boateng signed with Arkansas as a three-star receiver in the 2016 recruiting class and redshirted his first year on campus. He did not see the field in 2017 as he battled thru injuries. Boateng notes in his announcement letter that he has had two knee injuries during his playing career.

The only positive here for the Razorbacks is the fact Chad Morris’ program was over the scholarship limit heading into 2018. Boateng’s decision should clear one spot up for the team moving forward.

Here is the note Boateng released declaring the end of his playing career.
