Army-Navy game turns chippy with post-whistle ankle-grabbing and a stomp

Army and Navy got off to a high-scoring start as the teams combined for 17 points in the first quarter thanks to multiple big pass plays.
However, one play brought out the chippiness of the rivalry when Anthony Adkins got tangled with a Navy player after a play, and it appeared that Navy LB Diego Fagot held Adkins leg.
Both players were flagged on the play for for unnecessary roughness after Fagot wouldn’t let go of Adkins’ ankle, and Adkins for the stomp on Fagot’s chest after.
The typically run-heavy teams had already combined for 4-for-6 passing for a combined 79 yards in the first quarter. Army held a 10-7 lead as the Black Knights had a more balanced attack that led to 141 total yards.
