Former South Carolina star Stephon Gilmore has had a difficult season this year, as he’s dealt with a positive case of COVID-19 that disrupted the New England Patriots’ routine earlier this month as the facility was closed. Now he is facing the trade deadline as a possible target for another team.
There have been multiple reports from MMQB’s Albert Breer in August, and NBC Sports-Boston’s Tom E. Curran about trade scenarios for the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year being a candidate for a trade. Now comes news that Gilmore’s house is on the market.
Here’s the kicker: The “Property Details” section of the house’s listing includes a notable final line: “All offers if any due on Tuesday, November 3rd @ 5PM.”
For context, the NFL trade deadline is Tuesday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. ET.
This is certainly a situation to watch going into next week, as the Patriots get set to take on the Buffalo Bills on Sunday.
Breaking: Stephon Gilmore’s house is on the market.

#Patriots have talked about trading 2019 Defensive player of the year, CB Stephon Gilmore, per @AlbertBreer
They were in contact and had conversations with teams about trading him in August – Could be a trade target again with Pats going through a losing season without Tom Brady pic.twitter.com/I9SIYJexzP
