Atlanta CB has 4 SEC schools in top 6

If Chris Smith plays in the SEC, it won’t be too far from home in Atlanta, but he’s also interested in a pair of Big Ten powers.

The 3-star cornerback out of Hapeville Charter named Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina and Ohio State as his top six schools via Twitter on Monday.

Smith, who measures 5-foot-11, 169 pounds, is rated the No. 42 cornerback and No. 46 Georgia recruit by the 247Sports Composite. Two of the site’s recruiting experts have submitted Crystal Ball predictions that he will stay in the Peach State and play for the Bulldogs.

Smith has an impressive 30 offers, mostly from Power 5 teams, but he appears to have narrowed it down to the above six teams. Earlier this month, he took unofficial visits to Tennessee and Alabama to check out spring practices.
