Bruce Pearl and Auburn basketball received some good news on Friday, as 5-star forward Jabari Smith of the 2021 recruiting class announced his commitment to play for the Tigers.
Smith is a 5-star prospect per the 247Sports Composite and is rated the No. 1 power forward in his class, as well as the No. 5 overall player in the country and the top player out of Georgia.

Smith garnered interest from nearly every major college basketball program in the country, but will be headed to the Plains. Auburn assistant coach Ira Bowman was listed as Smith’s primary recruiter, giving Auburn its first commitment of the 2021 recruiting class.
Bruce Pearl has already taken Auburn basketball to new heights in the modern era, and it looks like the Tigers are not going anywhere on the hardwood.
