Auburn LB enters transfer portal after 2 seasons with Tigers

An Auburn linebacker has entered the transfer portal after 2 seasons with the program. Sophomore Joko Willis announced the decision on his Twitter.
The 6-foot-3, 212-pound Willis had 4 total tackles between the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Willis, a native of LaGrange, Ga., arrived at Auburn as a junior college transfer from Independence CC. Willis was regarded as the No. 1 JUCO outside linebacker prospect according to ESPN.

Auburn ended this season with a 5-7 record after firing Bryan Harsin. The Tigers wrapped up the year with a 49-27 defeat at Alabama in the Iron Bowl.
Auburn has 1 10+ win season in the last 10 years. AU recently hired former Ole Miss and Liberty head coach Hugh Freeze to take the helm of the program.
