The lone Auburn representative in the East-West Shrine Game won’t be able to participate.

Former Auburn linebacker Kris Frost has ruled himself out of this Saturday’s game at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., with what he’s calling a nagging injury, but he didn’t specify what it was in a story by AL.com.

The 6-foot-2, 240-pound linebacker finished 2nd on the Tigers with 96 tackles this season to go with 3 tackles for loss and 2 interceptions.

However, Frost says he may be ready for the Senior Bowl the following Saturday as he’s listed as an alternate.
