Walker Kessler did a little bit of everything on Saturday as Auburn bounced back with a win over Texas A&M. Kessler posted a triple-double of 12 points, 12 blocks and 11 rebounds in the Tigers’ 75-58 victory against the Aggies.

It is Kessler’s second triple-double of the 2021-22 season. Justin Lee of the Opelika-Auburn News notes that Kessler is the fifth SEC player ever to record multiple triple-doubles. Kessler previously posted a triple-double on Dec. 29, 2021, against LSU.

Saturday’s triple-double from Kessler was only the third in AU hoops history. Kenny Gabriel has Auburn’s other triple-double in a Jan. 2, 2012 game against Bethune-Cookman.

Speaking to reporters after the game, Bruce Pearl had high praise for Kessler, who credited his teammates.

Kessler and the Tigers will look to stay perfect at home when Vanderbilt visits Auburn Arena on Wednesday.
