Baby named after ‘Battle at Bristol’ game between UT and Va Tech this weekend

Throughout the course of time, many babies have been named after actors, athletes, colors, cities, countries, and even fruit.
We can now add an event to the list of ‘given name’ origins.
Hearing someone on our floor named their daughter "Bristol" in honor of this weekend. #VFL #hopewewin

An apparent Tennessee fan welcomed his newborn daughter on Twitter Thursday afternoon. He also mentioned the fact that someone on the same hospital floor named their daughter “Bristol” after the “Battle at Bristol” game this weekend between the Vols and Virginia Tech.
One has to wonder where we’ll see a baby named “Chick-Fil-A” in the future.
