Barker, Holyfield to enter Alabama Sports Hall of Fame

The Alabama Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2015 will include former University of Alabama quarterback Jay Barker, who helped lead the Crimson Tide to the 1992 national championship.

Barker was 35-2-1 record as Alabama’s starting quarterback, which still stands at the best winning percentage in Crimson Tide history (.934). He also won the 1994 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, and was named to the Academic All-SEC Team.

  • Alabama basketball player Derrick McKey

The 2015 Induction Banquet and Ceremony will be held in Birmingham on May 16, 2015.
