Baye Fall has made his much-anticipated decision and the big man is headed to Arkansas. The commitment by the 5-star center from Denver was confirmed by 247Sports.
The 6-foot-10 Fall is regarded by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 1 recruit from Colorado, the No. 3 center in the country, and the nation’s No. 14 overall prospect for the Class of 2023. The other finalists for Fall’s services included Auburn, Rutgers, and Seton Hall.
The 205-pound Fall has a 247Sports Composite rating of 0.9945, making him the third-highest commit for Arkansas since the modern era of the rankings.
Arkansas coach Eric Musselman is thrilled to add the dynamic Fall to his roster.
“We are extremely excited about the addition of Baye Fall to our program,” Musselman said via 247Sports. “Baye has been a top priority for our coaching staff since the beginning of our tenure at Arkansas. He plays with contagious energy and is an excellent two-way player who can affect the game on both offense and defense. Baye fits our NBA/Arkansas mold with his versatility and being a positionless basketball player. We believe the pairing of Baye Fall with Layden Blocker can give Arkansas one of the most exciting freshman duos in the entire country next season.” –
The Senegal native has tallied a pair of double-doubles this season for Denver’s Accelerated Prep. Fall racked up 13 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 blocks vs. 1 for 1 Prep in the season opener. In his most recent contest, Fall amassed 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 blocks vs. California’s Balboa.
