Brian Kelly provides status update on LSU RB Armoni Goodwin ahead of Ole Miss game

LSU got some good news on injury front THursday when Brian Kelly announced that running back Armoni Goodwin will be cleared for the annual Magnolia Bowl game against Ole Miss.
Shea Dixon from On3 confirmed the report:
#LSU RB Armoni Goodwin will play Saturday vs Ole Miss.

Goodwin, a sophomore, returned to practice earlier in the week after missing several games with a hamstring injury. He’s averaging 5.9 yards per carry and has five rushing touchdowns this season.
LSU’s running back depth has been up and down all season with John Emery Jr. missing a couple of games with a suspension and Goodwin’s injury. Last week Josh Williams stepped in admirably and rushed for 106 yards in a 45-35 win over the Florida Gators.
LSU will host Ole Miss on Saturday at Tiger Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:40 p.m. ET on CBS.
